They are, as Angela Davis noted in 1971, \u201cpolitical prisoners in the sense that they are largely the victims of an oppressive politico-economic order.\u201d Prisoners held in the United States for their political beliefs and activities include Ruchell Magee, Imam Jalil Al-Amin, Rev.
